Technological difficulties of volume holographic diffraction optical waveguide route:
Before manufacturing holographic waveguides, precise simulation calculations are required to obtain a beam of specific specifications for exposure. The laser intensity, main frequency, bandwidth, coherence, and material formula and exposure environment used in the process are the optimal solutions obtained after countless optical experiments. Many parameters cannot be deduced through simple optical analysis. It is necessary to find the best parameters through real holographic experiments based on the characteristics of the materials. Therefore, this also increases the difficulty of technology research and development and market monopoly. Because any problem occurs in any manufacturing and testing link, each of the above processes must be rechecked one by one, and sometimes the correct parameters will be misjudged due to too many influencing factors in the process. These are not something that professional research units in ordinary countries can grasp.
